2004 Marronier Art Center Seoul:
Comments
„Avant-garde sound artist Yeo Ge-suk
presents 'The Talking Wall', an unsettling
multimedia installation where flickering
hieroglyphics are projected on the wall
accompanied by dadaistic whispers and
wails. For the viewer, the question is not
if walls can talk, but rather whether we
can understand their strange, garbled
language. But for Yeo ... these cave
drawing-like sketches are a very detailed
musical code. 'If I cannot imagine the
pictures, I cannot sing,' she explained.“
