Time Sculptures

Time Sculptures are basically about the phenomena of time we all experience at different speed. This is expressed through various rhythms which plays and overlaps at the same time. The rhythms get joined by other sound layers - different in character in every Time Sculptures episode. -
Time Sculptures I got composed 2005. The electroacoustic music of Time Sculptures I explore the character of 'wood' and 'metal'.
The electroacoustic music of Time Sculptures II explore the sounds of 'machines' and 'digital devices'. Artificial melodic and colourful sounds, created by algorithms got used. The vocals are about to get in the way of the rather rhythmic electroacoustic parts.
The electroacoustic music of Time Sculptures III explore the sounds of 'water' and 'zero gravity'.

Petite compositions for zither
"Neue Musik - composers of our time write petite pieces for the zither" - that's the title of a small booklet of scores, just recently published at Musikverlag Peter Grünwald (www.zither.de). Publisher is the composer Peter Hoch. Other composers involved are Uli J. Kieckbusch, Benjamin Lang, Ursula Euteneuer-Rohrer, Mia Schmidt, Peter Hoch, Udo Diegelmann, Matthias Kaul and Ge-Suk Yeo.
