Hidden Hands

‘Hidden Hands' is for solo piano and is devided into five pieces. The first and the last piece are notated and frame the second, third and fourth pieces, which are sound calligraphies for free improvisation.
The first piece is the musical interpretation of a pair of hands playing the piano, randomly joined by another pair of hands: 'The Hidden Hands'. Please make shure to keep a constant tempo. Playtime approx. 7 1/2 min.
The middle part should give each calligraphy its own tempo and mood and should be interpreted with free emotion and technique. If desired, use the whole piano body – inside and outside, not just the keyboard. Strokes, lines, points in the middle and the pictogrammes at the bottem of each calligraphy could be played in parallel. Playtime of each calligraphy approx. 2 1/2 min.
The fifth piece 'The Thinking Hands' focuses on hands movement of a focused and thinking person. Playtime is max. 5 min.
